Hay Close Outdoor Adventure Playground

With space for children to run around and enjoy their time at Hay Close when you need a cup of tea. When we built the playground with the help of Trevor the Tractor man we wanted to create a theme where children would have a lot of fun whilst having a goal to achieve.

Childrens adventure playgroundThe goal – to start at one end of the spiral designed timber structures and finish on the centre platform without touching the ground!

Believe me it’s easy for children but what about adults? Our aim is for all the family to have fun at Hay Close and would ask that all children be supervised when in the play area, by a responsible adult or carer.

Fort Grisdale

Our own children’s timber fort designed by everybody and built by Jimmy the Joiner. Situated in the Party House, this is brilliant place for children to have hours of fun while you sit and chat with friends over a cuppa when it’s wet outside. Kids love it and so do we (well we had to test it out). Ladders, tunnels and ramparts, it’s all there to explore.
